David and I often find ourselves working around the West Midtown Atlanta area, doing headshot and portrait photography sessions. We love the area and have quickly found some favorite spots for photographs. Westside Provisions District is now at the top of that list.
Why is this location perfect for photoshoots? The variety of natural and man-made backdrops, along with nicely controlled lighting at the right times of day.
The main building at Westside Provisions District was a meat-packing plant built in 1910. It has served many other purposes since that time, but now is part of a lovely dining and shopping area. The red brick building, next to the train tracks is a lovely setting for portraits.
The right kind of setting for a good professional headshot also depends on having spots to sit and stand for the photos. Atlanta’s Westside Provisions District wins again in this category.
Lovely green corners of this mixed use area, in the summer, serve as the best natural backdrop for business or personal headshots. Below is a shoot we did for the team at Mosaic Community Planning in Atlanta, Ga.
The whole area is filled with staircases, bistro style seating, unique buildings, and lighting. That is why we use Westside Provisions District as a location for acting, dating, and corporate headshot photography as well as family portrait photography. Contact us to schedule your session there!
